The story gives detailed African traditional belief in the wake of western ideology channelled to correct the wrongs in the African traditional society and to uphold the fundamental human rights through demonstrations of love. The author believes that the hatreds and conflicts in the society across tribes, races and nations may be as a result of some certain traditional norms, beliefs and ideologies which can only be solved through demonstration of love in order to give chance for peace, tranquility and development to thrive.
The action of love which happens between Queency, the daughter of Joseph Chuks and Nneka - outcasts from Umuano village, and Prince Godwin, the only son of Igwe Josephat and Lolo Sunshine of Umumba, transcends to an unprecedented tragic traditional moment that leaves an unforgettable statement - "A Question of Love", in the minds of the people of Umumba village and across its surrounding communities.
