A Purple Perspective on Current Politics

A series of political rants by an imperfect independent voter seeking to find common ground in today's climate of political rancor. Many of us are trying hard to be faith-neutral, race-neutral, gender-neutral, party-neutral and sensitive to the hot topics of love, compassion, humility, truth, objectivity and integrity. We acknowledge that we all have inborn and even unconscious biases that make us fundamentally imprecise in our perspectives no matter how hard we try. We voted across party lines in these last few elections and have deep remorse that neither party fully embraces our views or cares much for our perspectives. We welcome your feedback and suggestions to enrich our perspectives. The author sincerely acknowledges his imperfections and biases and seek to find common ground.
