In a world of increasing choices, we need wisdom more than ever. Honestly, I didn't want to write this book. There are tons of other devotionals about the book of Proverbs and I didn't want to be one of thousands out there on the same topic. But then the Lord began doing some metaphorical heart surgery on me. A book I had no desire to write, that I felt wasn't necessary in the world, became something I couldn't let go of if I wanted to Writing this book was a tool God used to help heal my heart and teach me to care for my heart because it truly is the source from which everything else flows.
