An extremely apt title for a concise book

As the title says, this is a practicle guide to sewing your own needle lace, primarily aimed for complete beginners, although some thread craft experience is very helpful. Contains an overview of the history, regional styles, all of the basic materials one needs, and a break down of the steps with color figures. Book explains several stitches and some basic designs to get you started on building a very solid base in a delightful new and time-consuming hobby. (Full disclosure, I have not yet started a lace project, but this book gives me confidence for my first attempt)
