"A" Poems: Not because this is my "A" material. But simply the fact that all titles begin with the letter A. My bio says I have written a lot of poetry. I don't know exactly how much "a lot" is to anyone else, but I'm closing in on about 9,000. So how to make a selection from such a large quantity? I decided to go purely alphabetical. Which I found to be an original approach. Usually poetry books are arranged by theme, timeline, or perceived "bestness." But this way, you get all themes and times, all styles and sizes. And in matters of best, who am I to decide? Who is anyone? The best work of art is always the one which works for you right now. --I mean if it was total crap, or too unfinished, I left it out-- So while this still represents only a fraction of my work, is enough to include at least a slice of all, and that's good enough for now. -MW
