A book of Poetry and Art to make you forget, to tickle your soul, and to break your heart so that it never closes again.Peyman Allahvirdizadeh was born under an apple tree, 4000ft above sea level, wearing a sailor's hat. His ma' was a grape vine and his pa' was wrapped in cotton candy. He left Iran 11 years ago to show his love to the open road, and is still in love after 11 years. This book of poetry and art was created in collaboration with local DC artist, Tom Kim. Tom started out working professionally in commercial art, animation, and illustration in New York City. After several years of living in a tiny people box taking himself too seriously, Tom lightened up, and moved to his place of birth, Washington, DC, where he currently resides. Tom is an avid surfer, traveler, and lover of nature. His work attempts to examine the human condition, and reveal the inner cartoon character trapped deep within us all.
