My book is inspired by love of nature and its wildlife. I led 22 safaris in Africa over a period of many years, and had an opportunity to also visit other places in our amazing world. I wondered how I could uncover the excitement I experienced, and pass on fascinating and surprising things about some of the animal world in the form of amusing rhymes. I wanted this to be enjoyable for both adults and children and thereby would reach across the generations. Be surprised and read a few. I think you will find you won't stop with just one. The colorful art is the work of a relative of mine. We worked on this together over a period of more than two years. We wanted to get it right! I hope you think it is.
