Visual delights

For anyone interested in the origins and history of garden plants, this is a wonderful book, beautifully illustrated with many hundreds of photographs. As well as plants and their natural settings, the author describes much of the history of Western plant collecting in China. The photographs of plants and their settings are often stunning.
