The following is a SAMPLE of poems written by me. I chose this selection of poems to provide a preview of what i believe lupus is like. This book is a short preview of what the reader can expect in "A Piece of Me" and some exclusives from "A Piece of Me-Volume II." These poems are based on my personal experiences and feelings. As I go through life battling this disease, I experience a broad range of emotions on a regular basis. I chose to reveal my emotions to the world not only to expose my deepest thoughts and feelings but also to reveal what others similar to me may experience while battling this illness or any illness.
