Like the headline says, this book feels like what the ‘90s Disney movies were made of. The villain was very well written, reminding you of the likes of Scar and Jafar. The setting was very original — being filled with castles and villages, but taking place no earlier than the mid-1800s. Each character is an individual, making each one feel more real. You know everything will turn alright in the end, but you keep turning the page because you want to know HOW. Absolutely worth picking up if you need a good, solid Disney-like fantasy.
