When you think of the first Christmas, the night the Christ was born, do you picture a peaceful stable, with cute barnyard animals silently chewing hay while the young couple gaze at their newborn son? Well, guess again The census had brought more people than the small town could handle, and they had brought their animals with them. This is a story, and a play, about the caos that might have been around our Savior, as He came into this world. Mooing cows, interrupting camels, intruding shepherds. They all had a place in that first nativity, and they have a place in this one as well. Includes both a story, and the story written in play form.
