A Nose for Murder - M.S. Saxon
She's the psychic Geordie pensioner who tells it straight and suffers no fools. So when Sylvie's estranged drag queen husband is murdered, followed by a second family member, she can't help but get stuck in. Even when it looks like Sylvie herself may be the killer's next victim.
D.C.I. Seymour Witless is clueless and wifeless. Can he afford to refuse Sylvie's help in both of these matters?
With side-kicks Bobs, Hoggy, Reverend Norris and a few more, the clues begin to stack up. So what's a performing psychic to do other than to 'stage' a confrontation?
'A Nose for Murder' is a not-so-cosy mystery with expletives, though the 'f' word is used only once. The humour however is more freely scattered and very British (northern), for which I make no apology. So if I dare say it .... prepare to be entertained.
