A Night in the Santa Susana Pass

This is a story ties together events from several time periods which transpired in the Santa Susan Pass. An unlikely event draws us into people and places from previous historical events which occurred in or near the pass that traverses the Santa Susana mountains near the border of the Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. The story wraps events from the period shortly after California became a state, where a desperado, Juan Flores, was captured with some of the events related to the Manson cult.

The story weaves the lives of several unrelated people one night in the pass, when a couple, while on their way to a concert, end up with a flat tire which leads to a series of events that ultimately reveals an unusual death and the subsequent life of a the innocent person connected with the death.
