Elliott Barkan edited this volume about North America's cultural groups. Somehow he knew just how to get the exact information out of his writers that Americans are looking for--historical facts, migration patterns, push-pull factors that led to emigration, cultural practices, contributions to America, and adaptations each group had to make. BRAVO!
