This is the first volume of the restored trilogy. The now-defunct White Bird Publications released Volumes One and Two of a series entitled The Passion of Elena Bianchi in 2022. Unfortunately, the late publisher divided the series into four novels. In doing so, she overlooked the contemporary trend: that romances end "happily ever after" or "happily ever after for now."

The renamed series, A Musical Romance, is -- obviously -- a romance. However, plot twists and other surprises abound for both the hero and the heroine. Volume One is Giovanni's story, but Elena and others will take turns presenting the narrative by Volume Two.
