A MURDER IN TIME by Julie McElwain

Our book club selected this to read for May. I tried to read the first introduction & it was making me sick. The psycho killing ( in detail ) young damsels. I put the book down & waited a week. Then I skipped the beginning & started where the girl ( FBI) agent gets caught in the time warp. I so do not like descriptions of any kind of abuse. And especially from a female author. How un-lady like. I doubt people hired 'hermits" to live in their woods. But it was at least endurable until the end when it was the FBI agent who was the damsel in distress. I do not perpetuate such graphic nonsense & would hate for anyone to copy cat it. I don't think the secret societies existed like that. Men rouges maybe. But this is not a sit-down-ladies-talk-about book. I won't buy any more of her books.
