I read this in two evenings.

While this book is not a lighthearted mystery, I found the characters, the writing style, and the setting very intriguing. Well done! I will be reading more of this series in the future and am looking forward to further character development. The concept of setting a 1600s era murder and having is solved by a female may not be the most realistic, but I loved it! The historical accuracy is on point and I greatly appreciated that the author makes note of any discrepancies at the end. I highly recommend this book if you love murder mysteries and history. It's truly enjoyable.
