no shortcuts to actually learning a new language like guitar

On the recommendation of a university guitar instructor, I bought this to fill in my weak areas not covered enough in class. I quickly figured out there is a certain expectation you have a grasp of some guitar basic fingering and how to read notes. I would say 8 weeks of weekly guitar training before cracking this one open. IF you get past the frustration & devote daily practice (there are no shortcuts to actually learning a new language like guitar) this book with video & audio tracks will take you further than $88 an hour in person lessons! Immediately challenged my weak note reading and strengthened my fingering. Has some beautiful playing lessons I can’t get out of my head. Obviously I received the correct book, no problem.

Ordered this book and was sent something completely different.

Seems to be a trend with this one.

I hope you're actually a trumpet player!

They like to sell you this book and then send you sheet music for trumpet, and when you complain, they will shrug their shoulders and blame it on a third party.
