With so many changes unfolding in her life, Cait can't shake a growing sense of dread she can't quite explain. On the surface, she has every reason to feel stressed. Efforts to reopen the bookstore have stalled, she's still adjusting to the move from her beloved cabin into Mr. Parsons' home, and Finn is making little progress in investigating a troubling series of ongoing disappearances.
And yet, deep down, Cait knows none of these things are the true source of the unease settling in the pit of her stomach.
This feels different.
Stronger.
Like a warning.
No matter how hard she tries to dismiss it, Cait is certain something terrible is about to happen-and even more certain that, this time, she may not be able to stop it.
