Perfect read for December

11/29/25 - 12/6/25 A Merry Little Lie by Sarah Morgan. This was the 12th and final book read of 2025 Brenda Novak’s Book for 2025 (month of December). In a way I found it humor filled because it reminded sort of my own dysfunctional family. Grandmas always asking, “Are you pregnant?” Tension but loving, constant cooking, constant, continued chatter through the house, and chaos abound. Each of us having our own personalities and quirks, but during the holidays we used to put them aside and make it all good. Of course we don’t have the happily ever after, or the shocking engagements of fake relationships but we do have strange relationships, tensions, weirdness and typical family stuff. Like the forgot cat tipping over the Christmas tree and running around with the Disney ornament in their mouth if a mouse or bird as we ally Trey to wrangle it away from them before it becomes destroyed! Great book and fun to read for the last one of the year!
