The King Engone had made of Nkoulou the General in chief of the army of the Kingdom of Ndziman, and Abaga his deputy. Queen Ntogone and the king have a son, the Heir Prince Nang. Nkoulou hates Abaga, while the army, the people, the king Engone and the queen, appreciate him very much. He hates him because he sees in him an obstacle to his ambition to become king.Nkoulou kills the King, the Queen and the Heir Prince. Abaga is taken prisoner and waiting for his execution in public, which was to take place on the day of Nkoulou's enthronement. His house and all his possessions are destroyed by Nkoulou's men. But his wife Assengone and his son are safe because, sensing the tragic events that were coming, he had made them travel to the kingdom of Matib. The day before he was to be executed, he was delivered from his prison by an angel, and then fled to that kingdom.In this kingdom, he will have a long discussion with the General Obame, the Heir Prince of the kingdom of Matib. He will confirm him something he already knew, because he had been informed of it during his brief stay in prison by a prophet, then by the angel who came to deliver him. Namely, that he will become king of Ndziman and that God will use him to exert his revenge on Nkoulou for the massacre of the Royal Family.Abaga quickly finds himself at the head of a rebellion and his forces are considerable. When Nkoulou learns that the rebels have crossed the borders of the Ndziman kingdom, he sends his army against them. Abaga and his men win, and finally they enter Ntotolan, the capital of the kingdom of Ndziman. Abaga kills Nkoulou, after having confronted him in a duel, thus becoming the new king of Ndziman.
