For many years I'd been taking a road trip occasionally by myself. It was my way of getting away from the headaches of running a business and raising a family. I know, this sounds crazy for most people because I had a happy family, a thriving business, and many friends. But, why did I do such a crazy thing? To tell you the truth, I don't know. All I know now was that: once in a while, I felt a rope tied around my neck and a boulder on top of my chest. I felt I couldn't breathe and my ribcage crashed, squeezing out the last breath of air from my lung. Like a person dangling from a hanging tree by his neck in a noose, I struggled to loosen the rope and set myself free. Once I met an old man and I let him be my travel companion for a two-week road trip. After the first week I regretted my decision, thinking he was a madman. He told outrageous stories and had many crazy ideas that nobody had ever heard of. But at the end of our trip, I discovered he was actually a wise man disguised as a madman. Most of what he said made a lot of sense only after I had dug deeper and thought harder. Of course, this is my personal opinion which is as reliable as a weatherman. The line between madness and wisdom is unnoticeably thin, so is the difference between a madman and a wise man. It is difficult to tell which is which most of the time; it all depends on the opinion of an individual at the time, which is not only debatable but also unreliable as a weather forecast.
