This is to ensure that, if you pen happens to bleed through the page, it will not mess up your writings on the back sides of the pages. This practice workbook is arranged so that you have two (2) pages of slanted paper, followed by one (1) page of dot grid. This lets you practice both styles within close proximity of each other.
