A Look Into the History of the Buddhist Texts

Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. This book talks about the texts and scriptures that Buddhists use to practice their faith. These texts include wisdom and speak to other life issues. Some texts are very short in nature and are not practiced or used by all sects of Buddhists. Others are quite long in their discourse. Some are numbered as is the Christian Bible and others are not. The earliest Buddhist texts were written on birch bark and currently being studied under a joint project of translation.
