Each poem is a candid recollection of something that had been going on (or has been going on) at the time at which it had been written. Putting on paper the thoughts, feelings, and emotions that I had been experiencing at that moment had helped me greatly to let go of those that had been painful, but also had granted me the ability to hold on to the ones that I will cherish, forever. Therefore, the idea had occurred to me that there may be a lot of other people who may be experiencing or may have experienced many of the same things; thus this prompted me to put the excerpts altogether in a book that will hopefully offer others hope and a deep rooted faith that no matter the highs or lows they may be experiencing in their lives, God is (and always will be) there with them through it all- the good times as well as the bad.
