Larry Schreiber's life story is a love poem to Northern New Mexico and to all its inhabitants, as well as to Larry's own children-so many of them adopted-and to his wife and friends and colleagues. I think this book is beautiful. I ammoved to say that A Life Well Worn is among the most humane and decent books I have read in a long time.
