A LIFE FULL OF ADVENTURES IN KENTUCKY is the story of my growing up in Kentucky. I wrote the Poopy Pants series after realizing that there were so many "poopy pants" moments and "adventures," not only in my life, but others' lives, too. This book covers around the first 60 years of my life, mostly in Ashland, Kentucky. There were several well-known people in my adventures, including teenagers, Chuck Woolery, Naomi Judd, and dare I say, Charles Manson. Later in my life, I would encounter a young Billy Ray Cyrus, Muhammad Ali, President Richard Nixon, Kentucky Governor Paul Patton, and a few others. Besides, all of that, I have put in twenty years of research in my seeking out my own roots. I was shocked, through the years, just how many famous people that I am related to. At last count, it was over 75 and still counting. The entire list, including every detailed link is also included in this volume. Who actually made the list may surprise you, as well. Here are just a few: Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, and John F. Kennedy, Robert E. Lee, Winston Churchill, several kings, a Cherokee emperor, and a French Parliament president. There were several famous poets, including Edgar Allen Poe. There were famous women, like the Judds, Miley Cyrus, Pocahontas and Marilyn Monroe, among others. My latest "find" was Muhammad Ali.In addition to all that, is the entire list of 125 famous people that came from or ended up in or next door to my home town of Ashland. Many have their stories briefly told. The reader may be shocked at who is on the list. Here are some of the articles in the book itself:THAT BUS RIDE WITH 50 DRUNKSTHE TEEN CRUSH ON NAOMI JUDDSLEEPING ON 1,000 WATERMELONSWAKING UP SURROUNDED BY COPSBECOMING A JUVENILE DELINQUENTMY GIRLFRIEND'S GIRLFRIEND AND MEBATTING AGAINST A FUTURE N.Y.
