A very inspiring spiritual journey

"A Lake Surfer's Journey" recounts Jack and Maree Nordgren's life and ministry in Hawaii and Michigan and is very inspiring and easy to read. The book reveals how this winsome couple became the instruments of some amazing work of the Holy Spirit. I can not think of anyone would would not enjoy and profit from reading it. More importantly, if there are unsaved friends or loved ones in your life, this book would be a wonderful introduction to the Gospel. Surfers will especially connect with Jack's passion for riding the waves and boomers will relate to his struggles during the Vietnam years. Thanks Jack and Maree for sharing some of your triumphs and challenges with the rest of us. God Bless you both.

A Grateful Believer

Full disclosure: Jack Nordgren became my pastor shortly after I became a Christian. I learned more about the love of God from Jack and Maree than anywhere or from anyone else. I bought two copies of the book-one for myself and one for my son, Mark. Jack has the heart of a true shepherd and made a permanent mark on my life. I loved the book, it is inspiring and uplifting. P.S. The young boy facing the camera on page 59 is my youngest son, Michael. I plan to buy a copy and have it sent to him. Though I haven't seen Jack & Maree in twenty years, I thank God constantly for sending them into my life. I continue to receive their encouragement and spiritual support to this day.
