Travelling Europe in 1973 was vastly different from today. Imagine no smartphones, internet, Facebook, ATM machines, credit cards, Google translate or GPS mapping. Each country was a separate entity; the European Union had not been formed and a single currency had not yet been established. Share a white Xmas in Canada followed by a 30-day non-stop tour around the USA on a Greyhound bus, sleeping on the bus at night and sightseeing during the day. From being locked in solitary confinement in Alcatraz prison to starring on a Hollywood film set. Every day was a day of self-discovery and personal development, finally ending when a life-changing decision would had to be made.
