The healing magic of the child within

A friend sent me a link to Duirwaigh Gallery(pronounced "Door way") and A Knock on the Door last year. I clicked the link and fell head over heels in love with film. The images, the music, and the inspirational quotes combine in a thoroughly mesmerizing,enchanting,uplifting spiritual experience. It touches a place in the heart that is easy to neglect as one grows up. But this magically powerful little clip can bring healing tears and smiles - allowing one to remember childlike wonder and joy. It continues to be an inspiration to me as I pursue my own muse. Everyone to whom I have sent the link has been inspired or transformed by A Knock at the Door. I was delighted when I could buy it for my own along with the beautifully rendered book. The book and the film are small, but larger than life. The DVD faithfully reproduces the film and the Duirwaigh elves went to great lengths to ensure the book was a quality reproduction. The first time I saw the movie on the internet, I cried. My soul came out of hiding and the siren song of hope and renewal woke the writer inside me. I would categorize this book and dvd as one of the top 5 inspirational sources ever.

I first saw this amazingly magical and enchanting dvd via a web link that was sent to me by a very close friend. I watched it and I was so moved that I cried. As soon as it became available on the Duirwaigh website I bought a copy and had it shipped over here to the UK. It was so worth every penny .... its inspiring, uplifting, joyous and has that "feel-good" factor. Buy it for yourself and all those people in your life that mean something to you.

Spiritually moving

I first watched this movie on the internet and came back to it over and over again. When it was finally available as a book and DVD, I immediately took advantage of it. I love the artwork that was used and the messages are so powerful. As the words and images go by you in the DVD, a inspiring musical composition keeps time with it. I love the book and the movie and if you like things that are uplifting, you will too!

Fabulous book and DVD

I bought 20 copies of this book to give as gifts over Christmas 2006 and it was a hit! Everyone who received it loved it and many keep it on their coffee tables for guests to see. This is such an inspirational book and the DVD inside the book is so beautiful ~ it just makes you feel good!
