A Jug Full of Doug

By Jonathan Taylor-Coe

This story, a beautifully illustrated, rhyming fable about an extraordinarily inventive mouse, was a labour of love for the author, created over three years in whatever spare moments could be found. While light-hearted and - hopefully - fun to read, it highlights the joy of creativity and the need to push on in the face of adversity, though perhaps not in the direction you initially set off. It also highlights the dangers of falling into jugs

A professional artist of over thirty years, Jon can more normally be found designing and visualising concepts for theme parks and attractions, including the narrative and media elements of Gangsta Granny at Alton Towers and The Gruffalo River Ride at Chessington World of Adventures, UK. He has designed attractions around the world for Dreamworks, Zafari, Sesame Street and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, among others.
