For me, writing poetry is deeply personal. Every poem contained herein is the result of a person or event in my journey. I wrote, often tearfully, not from my head, but from my heart. I seek no reward; not wealth, nor recognition, nor acclaim. My goal is to encourage. Living can be cruel, but a life is the only thing God has given us. In my time I have learned many facts and come to know much. And, in all my knowing I know this, that despite the pain and challenges, LIFE IS A JOURNEY WORTH TAKING.
