Ren never imagines that finding a career chance will drastically alter her life. She was hoping for a second chance, but meeting Cameron gives her one. She has no idea that it will also require her to ultimately discover who she is.

I let out a soft Mmm and instantly opened my eyes to see her looking at me with her head slightly tilted to the side and an amused smile playing on her lips.

"Do you always have that reaction to things that taste good?"

The possibility of a double meaning to her question wasn't lost on me and it surprised me, making me cough. I cleared my throat before answering.

"Well, it depends.." I answered carefully.

"On what?" She leaned forward slightly with what looked like an almost mischievous glint in her eyes.

"On what I'm eating," I fired back sounding a lot more confident than I felt. Her eyebrows went up slightly.
