A Jewel of a Summer

Perhaps I'm biased, because the author is my cousin, but I loved this book!!! I read 1 or 2 chapters aloud to my 9 year old daughter before bed each night. She enjoyed the book, almost always begging for another chapter in addition to the one I'd already read! The book is a fun mix of enjoying carefree summer days, learning what it means to be a true friend, and solving an engaging mystery. It was time well-spent reading this along with my daughter.
