Darwin and Marilyn had no children but they were quite well to do. They decided to help the poor and especially the people on the street. The opened their large home for strangers that needed a place to live. Several of them lived there, found a job and moved on. One lady came for help when her baby was stolen. She had no place to live and she lived in the Home for Strangers and help with the work. One man thought he knew where the kidnappers lived.
