MIA IS BORED... It's summer and Mia's best friend is at camp far away. Her brother Ethan and his friends are annoying, like every little brother. Then Mia's mom says she has to do something constructive with her summer. But what? Mia volunteers at a dog shelter, and learns all about taking care of her furry friends and finding them furever homes. What she finds on a routine chore is about to change her life forever. Mia and her family have to make a big decision... before it's too late
This is a middle grade book. I really enjoyed this story, and I feel it shows kids an important message. I love that the main character volunteer at her local animal shelter, and I think this book will show kids how important volunteering in the community is important. I received an ARC of this book. This review is my own honest opinion about the book like all my reviews are.
I have since brought two copies of this book (one for my daughter and one for her old teacher). My daughter finish reading this book, and she really enjoyed this book as well.
