This book is an attempt to chronicle the two hundred and fifty year history of Harrison College primarily from the year of its foundation in 1733 to 1983 when the school celebrated its two hundred and fiftieth anniversary. The final chapterprovides a brief postscript to the 1983 cut-off point in an attempt to bring the story somewhat more up to date and, hopefully, to render it of appreciably greater interest to contemporary observers of the school and of Barbadian education generally.
