Five families of bats, ghosts, mummies, skeletons, and witches live in a haunted house. The neighborhood people are afraid of the Haunted House and never visit there. Both groups have preconceived misconceptions, myths, and stereotypes of each other. A chance meeting between one individual of each group sets the story for an understanding of each other. This story addresses misconceptions, stereotypes, myths, and bullying using Halloween as a tool. There is a question guide at the end and a biography of each family to help young listeners / readers understand the concepts.
