After eating the flower, the monkey dies, but to their astonishment, the flower's magic releases the monkey's spirit as a translucent being. Now, as a spirit, the monkey continues to accompany and guide Tamara and Vanko on their quest. His knowledge of the mountain and its secrets proves invaluable.
