Anyone who uses regular Greek dictionaries when studying the Septuagint will experience some frustration. The Greek of the Septuagint, as is typical of the language of any text in translation, has numerous peculiarities (e.g., newly created words, specialized meanings, or unusual turns of phrases) that are not adequately covered in standard Greek lexicons.
