A Greater Fool: Election: 2024

Donald Trump seems to thinks that he has the whole 2024 Election sown up and in the bag. He has chosen to avoid the debates because of his lead in the polls. Polls have been wrong in 2008, 2012, 2016 and 2020. So, when the other candidates talk about substantive issue, Mr. Trump chooses not to show up, but campaigns about how his election was stolen from him in 2020. His tactics of delay, delay and delay may work for the Federal charges in Florida and Washington, they will not work out so well with the State charges in Georgia. The former president and Mark Meadows are having a hard time getting the Georgia charges moved to Federal Court. The other issue is that the current sitting President, Joe Biden play out like this, all sitting presidents get the benefit of the doubt. While George H.W. Bush lost in 1992 and Trump lost in 2020, sitting presidents get a pass on what they have accomplished. Biden has created more jobs in his term that Mr. Trump, and the economy seems poised for a soft landing. That is a tough narrative when you consider that Biden took the COVID 19 fiasco from Trump. In my prior book in 2019, I predicted Mr. Trump would lose. I am not saying Biden will win, but many issues must play out before November 2024. I see many twists and turns on the road to November 2024. But remember, all the politicians rely on pollsters, and they have been wrong in every presidential election since 2000. Every losing politician since 2000 thinks their election was stolen.
