Rumor has reached the Forces of Order on Earth that Chaos is growing ever more powerful and that Merlor, High Lord of Chaos, is on the very brink of discovering the long-hidden secret of space travel. Soon he will make his move and bring Chaos back home.
Merlin, Lord of Order, plans to carry the battle to the exile planet, Chaos V, and once and for all stamp out his nemesis and twin brother, Merlor. His long time hatred of Merlor and all that he stands for is not the only reason for this move.
Merlin the Good plans to take over the planet as a haven for the Clans of Order and make of it the paradise that he could not make of Earth.
The civilizations of mankind have deteriorated. In spite of all efforts of Merlin and his forces, there is very little Order left on Earth. His dream of the banishment of the magical forces of Chaos to a far-off galaxy, failed because of the seeds of chaos already sowed in the hearts of men.
