The physical and psychological evidence of the sexual abuse perpetrated by my granddaughter's father upon her, was all there Yet, our system, which was designed to protect, instead, concealed, twisted and actually eliminated blatant facts and truth, which prevented his prosecution. Would God take over and judge where the system failed us? My abounding joy went slowly to heartache, and then to indescribable anguish. This true story shows how God's love can carry us through heinous tragedies and heal broken hearts. Hannah Woods wanted to be a police woman when she graduated high school at 17 because her father was a police offer in a large northeastern city. Since one has to be 21 to train for that profession, she went to college instead, and gradually earned three life teaching credentials, two of which were in areas of special education. Looking back now, she realizes that God led her to the right professional decision. What a privilege to have been a positive influence in the lives of so many children, rather than to have worked in a system that will not protect them
