Attachment Parenting in action

Our 16-month-old loves this book - and I, the mother, love it, too. It makes a great gift for any new mother AND her baby! The book deals with the most important question: what does a baby really need? Stroller? Pacifier? Bottle? It gives lovely answers from the baby point of view: she prefers to be carried, comforted by daddy and nursed by mommy. Beautiful, detailed illustrations, text in big letters printed in english and spanish, suprising and lovely ending of the story. Highly recommended!

Very special book

My 5-year-old son loves A Gift for Baby and has been requesting that I read it with him every day. Both of my sons were very intrigued by the Spanish text below the English words. It is a precious book that really captures the spirit of a baby. To think, that it is so simple.... no pacifiers, no cribs, no strollers, none of that... just mommy and daddy and I am happy. My 5-year-old lights up at the end of the story, every time. I, myself, was thrilled to have nursing mentioned in the book.. that was beautiful.
