This novel was inspired by a rereading of James Joyce's Ulysses. It is one day in the life of Joseph Fitzgerald, August 15, 2015, the day his life-long love, Sharon, was buried.

Half of the novel follows him through Brooklyn that day.

The other half returns, in his mind, to the events that made their life together so memorable. Some sad, some joyful, some majestic, all wonderful.
