All of us have the capacity to be better and finer people. The question lingers on how we go about doing that. There is a simple answer given by Jesus Christ. He said, "Whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it." In another place He said, "I am come that you might have life, and have it more abundantly." The very God who created this world, and who created us, is the one who wants to live in us and fill us with his life. The answer to finding our true selves and finding greater meaning in life is not in making one's self better. It is in yielding one's self to the One who made us in the first place.

Getting to know Jesus and following Him in every aspect of our lives is living life as He intended it to be lived. This book deals with the living of life on a daily basis with Jesus at the center of everything we are and do.
It is not about being religious. It is all about being in relationship with Jesus and in turn living out that relationship in everyday life. That makes for a life that is both freeing and fulfilling. It gets us outside of ourselves to live life in and for Jesus and for others. If our lives are self-centered that is how big our lives will be...as big as ourselves. If our lives are centered on our families...that is how big we will be. If we are job and community centered that is how big we will be. But, if our lives are centered in Jesus as creator and Lord, then our lives will have infinite and eternal dimensions. When that happens, not because of what we have done, but because of who Jesus is and what he has done and is doing in us life takes on totally new dimensions.
