A friend who bleeds

While in town on other business, Kyle decides to drop by and visit his late dad's best friend Eugene. They reminisce about times gone by and once Eugene feels comfortable, he tells Kyle something strange. Eugene's son Larry thinks he's a vampire. Once Eugene convinces Kyle it isn't a joke, he pleads with him to spend time with Larry. He thinks that if his son can be around a peer with more on the ball, he would get inspired to come back to reality and make something of himself. Kyle agrees and soon after, he is told of a dark community of others like Larry that host midnight feeding rituals. But to Eugene's dismay, Kyle becomes genuinely fascinated with everything Larry tells him and he wants to learn more. What could possibly go wrong?
