Osifo Egie and Ndidi Amengo meet briefly as teenagers through a family friendship. But they do not like each other and their lives are going in very different directions. Ndidi Is from a wealthy background and is about to leave for England to study. Osifo has not completed his education and is soon to start work as a clerk. By the time fate brings them together again each of them have experienced a great deal. But it seems at first that the unhappiness They both have suffered may keep them apart.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Helen Aiyeohusa Ovbiagele (born 1944) is a Nigerian novelist. She was born in Benin City, and after attending C.M.S. Girls' School, Benin City, and St. Peter's College, Kaduna, she studied English and French at the University of Lagos and studied at the Institut Fran ais du Royaume-Uni in London. Her work is associated with the romance genre, initially published by Macmillan's hugely popular Pacesetter Novels series
