Beautifully illustrated and lovely reminiscence

I am so glad I purchased this one! What a treat to read on cold wintery nights with a hot cup of tea. Love her illustrations and the story is so compelling. In other hands, a travel diary like this may have come across as elitist and tone-deaf. Not so here; Ms. Branch sounds more like a letter from a dear friend, happy to share her joy with you. Do yourself a favor and snap a copy of this up, you won't be sorry.

This book is wonderful the author makes you feel that you are right there with her on her journey! Susan Branch has three novels out now I have read two of them and waiting for publication of the third. A truly great writer!
