Daisy and Albert find themselves almost unable to cope and so escape from Edinburgh earlier than planned The fascinating Flemish artifacts though, prove too alluring to ignore and the second half of the book sees them over in Picardie poking about the past. Daisy's Huguenot ancestry may prove elusive but will she find some kind of closure?. What will they find over there in Picardie? A confrontation with local priests and a warm welcome from other villagers. A warm reconciliation also finds its way into the narrative, all told with Daisy's precious and self-deprecating style. Truly, a gripping yarn filled with naive humour, and a few close run escapades.
